Despite the fact that I went in with no expectations, I was still blown away with the magnitude that was the IRCE 2018 Tradeshow. I first stepped in the convention center to see workers bustling around, building equipment everywhere, and a sense of urgency in everyone's walk. By Tuesday's Welcome Reception, the convention floor had been turned into a maze of engaging booths.
The next few days went unexpectedly fast. Throughout my experience, I shifted from describing what CPC does, and our capabilities, to listening to our visitors. I learned about their businesses, their history, and what their needs were. The conversation became not what they could do for us, or what we could do for them, but what we could accomplish together. It was then that the word "partner" really began to resonate with me. I'm very much looking forward to creating long standing partnerships with our visitors.
